UNITAR
UNITAR was founded in 1963 regarding the General Assembly resolution 1934 (XVIII) of 11 December 1963. UNITAR’s headquarter now is based in Geneva, Switzerland. The Mission of UNITAR is to deliver innovative training and conduct research on knowledge systems to develop capacities of beneficiaries in the fields of Environment; Peace, Security and Diplomacy; and Governance.
The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is a training arm of the United Nations System, serving some 27,000 beneficiaries annually by conducting more than 400 capacity development and research activities around the world. As an autonomous body within the United Nations System, UNITAR is governed by a Board of Trustees and is headed by an Executive Director. The Institute is supported by voluntary contributions from governments, intergovernmental organizations, foundations, and other non-governmental sources.
UNA-China
The United Nations Association of China (UNA-China) is the only non-governmental organization in China committed to the promotion of the purposes and principles enshrined in Charter of the United Nations. Its membership is open to the general public and social entities that are enthusiastic about the cause of the UN. UNA-China's Council consists of former senior diplomats with extensive experience in the UN, renowned scholars specialized in UN studies, and entrepreneurs who are keen on promoting the cause of the UN. UNA-China is headquartered in Beijing and its current president is AMB. Lu Shumin.
Fudan
University
Initially known as "Fudan Public School", Fudan University was founded in the year 1905. "Fudan", literally meaning "(heavenly light shines) day after day", indicates inexhaustible self-reliance and industriousness.
Fudan University consists of 28 schools and departments, with seventy undergraduate disciplines. Now it has an enrollment of 28,962 full-time degree candidates, including 3,633 foreign students.
Fudan University boasts a qualified faculty of over 2,678 full-time teachers and researchers, including 1,400 full professors and associate professors, 36 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 53 chair professors and 30 lecture professors of the Cheungkong Scholars Program, 17 chief scientists of Project 973.

Since its founding in 1951, the International Department, under the direct care and leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), has seen a continuous expansion of its international exchanges and communications serving the key tasks of the Party in different periods.
International Department actively conducts new types of party-to-party exchanges and cooperation in an effort to promote the development of state-to-state relations. CELAP
China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong (CELAP), a Shanghai-based national institution, is funded by the central government and supervised by Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee. Our training is for senior leaders from government and top executives from the business community. We focus on social improvement and economic development. CELAP was officially open on 18 March,2005.
CELAP is supervised by the Central Organization Department of the Communist Party of China. Mr Zhao Leji, Chief of the Central Organization Department, acts as President of CELAP. CELAP has eight departments: the General Office, the Department of Students, the Department of Teaching Affairs, the Department of Academics, the Department of Research Administration, the Department of International Exchange & Program Development, the Department of Information & Technology and the Department of Human Resources.
CIPG
China International Publishing Group (CIPG) was founded in 1949 with a mission to introduce China to foreign countries through books, magazines and websites. CIPG has over 20 subsidiaries as well as 12 overseas branches located in the United States, Britain, Germany, Belgium, Russia, Egypt, Mexico, Japan and Hong Kong, constituting a conglomerate of foreign language publishing and marketing.
Currently, CIPG has a staff of nearly 3,000 people, including over 100 foreign experts. Every year CIPG publishes over 3,000 titles of books and 30 periodicals in more than 10 languages. CIPG operates www.china.org.cn and another 30 websites. It organizes book exhibitions and cultural exchange activities overseas each year.
CFPD
China Foundation Peace and Development (CFPD) is a national non-profit organization approved by Ministry of Civil Affairs. It was founded in January 2011 in Beijing. CFPD aims to support domestic non-governmental organizations in participation in international exchanges and cooperation, to provide international public service and to promote world peace development and common prosperity. The current director of CFPD is Sun Jiazheng, the CPPCC vice-president and the vice-director is Wei Jianguo, who served as vice-chairman in the Minister of Commerce.
Currently, CFPD’s major work
includes: international exchanges, public service, and research projects. International
exchanges and cooperation can be carried out by organizing exchange programs in
international forums, seminars, training and etc. Public service aims to promote
international friendship and provide social service on educational, medical,
cultural and other areas of public activity. Research projects focus on the
study of international issues based on cooperation with internal and external
research resources.
CDRI
Founded in 2002, China Development Research Institute (CDRI) is a comprehensive consulting agency for both government and private sector. CDRI has a team of highly qualified consultants and professional experts, especially some well-known economist. CDRI undertakes important projects on national economy, social development, enterprise development and other vital fields, providing policy recommendations and consultant advice to governments and business. The institute is operated by an open mechanism, through which establishes various forms of cooperation with government, business, and other consulting agencies, mobilizing social resources and promoting the integration of industry, academia and research. CDRI is headquartered in Beijing, with branches in Shanghai, Hong Kong and other places.
CIHC
Founded in 2010, China Institute of Harmony Culture (CIHC) was approved by the Companies Registry, the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It aims to promote Harmony Culture as a dominant civilization of all human being, hopefully leading the whole world to reach the supremacy with a unification of matter and civilization; and establish a common home of humanity based on equality.
With the support of relevant state departments, CIHC has built up a high level research institute, in which consists of tremendous renowned scholars and celebrities from the internal and external. CIHC has successfully organized the World Olympic Fine Arts in 2008 and participated in the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Conference held in Shanghai. Besides, CIHC has signed a cooperation agreement with Tsinghua University Center for Chinese Enterpreneur Studies on the research of Harmony Culture.
Peking University
Founded in 1898, Peking University was originally known as the Imperial University of Peking. It was the first national university covering comprehensive disciplines in China, and has been a leading institution of higher education in China since its establishment. In 1912, the university adopted its present name.
Peking University has continually played the essential role of pioneers in the course of China's modernization. The university's traditional emphasis on patriotism, progress, democracy, and science, together with its educational standards of diligence, precision, factualism, and innovation, have been passed down from generation to generation.
At the end of the 20th century, the Chinese government put Peking University at the top of its agenda for promoting higher education, with the aim to build a world-class university in the 21st Century.

SUNRA
Proposed by Ambassador CHEN Jian, former UN Under-Secretary-General and instructed by United Nations Association of China, the Shanghai UN Research Association (SUNRA) is initiated and established by some distinguished scholars and leading universities and academic institutions in Shanghai in 2013.
SUNRA aims to help consolidate and strengthen UN research in Shanghai, promote the development and cooperation of UN agencies in Shanghai, and win over more supports from the UN and international organizations for the development of Shanghai. The main activities of SUNRA are to coordinate and guide UN studies in Shanghai, to assist and provide convenience to UN agencies for their activities in China, and to offer consultation and service regarding UN issues for government and society. SUNRA will attain these purposes through academic research, policy consultation, professional training, and cultural communication.
Zhongdao Group
Founded in 2008, Zhongdao Group is an economic entity initiated by National Development and Reform Commission China Economic Herald. It originally served to the project called Four Centers Establishment (including International Economic Center, International Financial Center, International Trade Center and International Shipping Center) in Shanghai, promoting the development of Yangtze River Delta.
Zhongdao Group and its subordinate corporations play a significant role in the development of Shanghai. Besides, it makes great effort on its social compact. Zhongdao Group actively participate in the promotion of cultural exchange, commonweal aid, environmental protection, and many other projects in favor of the respect and understanding on different religions and culturest.
Two corporations of Zhongdao Group, namely exhibition of two business segments, Shanghai Binjiang Exhibition Services Company and Siweijia Exhibition Services Company, actively participate in 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and undertook construction and operation service for tens of pavilions. Most impressively, they successfully provided operation service in the UN Pavilion.
